Role Overview 

Reporting to the Creative Services Marketing Manager, this role will provide original video content for School Group. 


Essential Functions 

  • Shooting video of people, buildings, events, landscapes and objects in various settings. 

  • Working closely with the Marketing Department to develop concept collections that will be used by School Group across various platforms. 

  • Conceiving and present video ideas to the Creative Services Marketing Manager and the Chief Marketing Officer. 

  • Visualizing, composing and creating video collections, campaigns, and stock videos based on verbal or written concepts to tell a story or convey information. 

  • Organizing and categorizing digital video files. 

  • Self-editing videos to fit the needs of the Marketing Department. 

  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.

Key Relationships 


  • Add positions consulted for this role, both internal and external. Also include direct reports, if any, and level of supervision. 





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Videography, Fine Arts or related creative field. 

  • 1+ year of professional (or high quality) videography experience. 

  • Passion for creativity and a limitless imagination. 

  • A portfolio of completed projects. 

  • Expert familiarity using professional digital cameras. 

  • Advanced familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premier Pro. 

  • Previous experience working with social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and WordPress. 



  • Capacity to shoot photos, a plus.  

  • Prior nonprofit or media experience a BIG plus.  

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint helpful. 

  • Experience working remotely as part of a team.  

  • Experience working in a start-up company, non-profit or entrepreneurial environment.  

  • Self-directed and disciplined with the ability to work independently in an ever-changing environment.
