Role Overview 

Prepares new volunteers to become productive quickly.  Partners with departmental hiring managers to coordinate training for new volunteers.  Build effective working relationships, experienced delivering virtual instructor led training (vILT) 

 

Essential Functions 

 

  • Develop and facilitate training for onboarding new volunteers 

  • Manage the logistics of learning and create a learning environment to assist knowledge transfer 

  • Stay abreast of tools and technology to improve the virtual delivery of training 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and continuously evaluate training to make sure it is current and effective 

  • Documents feedback and analyze results to improve onboarding process  

  • Track performance and supports new volunteers to identify retraining opportunities

Qualifications 

Basic 

 

  • 1-3 years of experience facilitating virtual training 

  • Demonstrate expertise in developing learning content 

  • Bachelors 

  • Knowledgeable of online tools such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Zoom…etc., 

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information in large and small group settings 

 

Preferred  

  • Experience conducting synchronously and asynchronously vILT 

  • Experience creating and managing learning communities 

  • Designing Virtual Training Certification

This is a volunteer position. There will be no financial compensation. Our organization is 100% volunteer-run. We welcome volunteers located anywhere in the world, as long as they can connect reliably to the internet.
