Role Overview 

Strong knowledge of Talent Development programs to drive process efficiencies and best practices.  Supports the execution of key programs within the talent management and development life cycle for volunteers 


Essential Functions 


  • Support the execution of talent management and development programs to include performance  

  • evaluation, goal-setting, succession planning and volunteer engagement 

  • Develop and improve upon current virtual engagement processes for rewarding and recognizing volunteers 

  • Partners with stakeholders throughout the TM&D cycle communicating through presentations and learning sessions to drive engagement  

  • Collaborates with TM&DD to analyze culture & exist survey results to improve volunteer engagement 

  • Identifies best industry practices and recommends enhancements to programs based on research, stakeholder feedback and needs assessments 

  • Engages stakeholders to drive continual process improvement; Implement proactive efforts to support the learning and sharing culture 

  • Provides technical support to end-users 

  • Document components of the TM&D process; develops and maintain system documentation

Key Relationships 


  • SG Volunteers (internal stakeholders) 




  • 3-5 years of broad HR experience, including talent development 

  • Bachelors (or equivalent experience) in Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure of sensitive information 

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills 

  • Systems savvy with strong technical problem-solving skills 

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software 


  • Masters in Organizational Development, Human Resources Development or related field
